　　As is known to all, parents’ behaviors will have a deep influence on the development of their children. But some parents don’t pay attention to what they do and say in public occasions such as crossing the road, driving on the road, gathering for meals, which leaves a negative effect on their children. As is shown in this picture, the father even encourages his son to cross the street against the traffic lights by saying “This is a narrow street, so there are not many policemen here and the traffic is not heavy.”

　　This will surely do harm to the child. If children often learn from their parents like this, they will form all kinds of bad habits. So in order to make children tell right from wrong and actively participate in building the harmonious society, parents should teach their children by personal example as well as spoken instruction. Only in this way can children grow up normally and be qualified builders of our society.
