Step Ⅳ Listening and speaking
In this procedure, get the students to do Activities 3, 4 and 5 to review what we have learned in this module.
Listening
1. First ask the students to listen to the tape and complete the notes about Adam’s trip in Activity 5.
2. Let the students act as Adam to talk about the trip. Using the notes to help them.
3. Ask two or three students to talk about theirs and ask the others to listen to them carefully then ask them to repeat or answer some questions.
Speaking
T: Now look at the picture on the top in Activity 3. What’s on the picture?
Have a free talk about these questions with your partners
Step V. Reading
In this procedure, get the students to read the passage and do Activity 7 and Activity 8.
Please skim the passage in Activity 6 and match the photos and the paragraphs.

Give the students a few minutes to read, and then check the answers together.

Step VI Module task
Making plans for your future.
  1. Think about your life in the future. Make notes about the following things:
  ﹒what you are planning to do in the next three years
  ﹒what you would like to do after that
     Do you want to go to university and get special training or would you like to work after senior high school?
  •what other areas of your life you want to develop
    Do you want to be better at sports, learn to play music, or develop artistic skills?
  •how you use your personal life
  •what sort of values you think will be important to you
  2. Use your notes and write sentences.
  3. Join your sentences together and write a passage about your future.
The sample passage:
        I am leaving senior high school soon and I have a plan for my future. I want to go to university and get special training. I like English and I am also good at English, So I want to be better at English and I plan to specialize in English for science and technology. I want to be skilled in it and make it my career. I hope one day I could translate some articles of science and technology. I want to be knowledgeable person and I want to make my life fruitful.
 
Step VII Homework 
1.      Remember the words and phrases we learned in this module.
2.      Join the sentences together and revise their passages.
3.      Go over the Language notes on page 136.
