Step1 Review
1. Let students talk about the ways that germs get into our body and how to fight germs.
T: Oh, boys and girls, show me your hands.
......
T: Oh, your hands are very dirty; your fingernails are so long. You should wash your hands carefully. You should keep your fingernails short. OK, you can put down your hands. Boys and girls, is keeping our hands clean good or bad for our health? Is keeping our fingernails short good or bad for our health?
Ss: It is good.
T: Why? ( Because they can prevent germs from getting into our body )
Ss: ......
T: Yes, they can prevent germs from getting into our body. If we don‘t do that, germs will get into our body. Then we will have diseases, we will be ill. So which ways do you know that germs get into our body?
Ss: Through the nose, the mouth and the skin.
T: Good. How can we do to fight germs? ( We should( must) keep the air fresh, we should( must) tidy our rooms and sweep the floor often, we shouldn‘t ( must not ) spit in public, we shouldn‘t ( must not ) eat bad food, we shouldn‘t ( must not ) drink sour milk, we should ( must ) wash our hands before meals, we shouldn‘t ( must not ) keep fingernails long, we should ( must ) keep our bodies clean ) (Bb)

T: Right. If we do what we said, germs will stay away from us, we will be healthy.
2. Read the underlined sentences on Bb.
3. Use a question and lead to 1.
T: Boys and girls, which one is more important, being healthy or having a lot of money?
Ss: Being healthy.
T: Yes. Being healthy is more important than having a lot of money. We may be poor, but we are healthy, we can earn a lot of money later. But money can‘t bring health for us. Understand?
